Job Coaching at Guiding Hands Guardianship Services

At Guiding Hands Guardianship Services (GHGS), we do more than provide guardianship; we create real opportunities for growth, independence, and community inclusion. We proudly support individuals as they build valuable life and work skills that empower them to thrive. 

We are proud to share that several of our members are currently interning in the administrative offices at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey. This meaningful partnership demonstrates our commitment to providing individuals with developmental disabilities hands-on job experience, coaching, and opportunities matching their unique strengths and interests. We ensure their success and growth in real world workplace environments by carefully pairing each candidate with roles that suit their skills and aspirations.

We are dedicated to helping young adults build their confidence, skills, and independence to succeed. We prepare our participants for employment and lifelong success through personalized support and real-world opportunities. Many of our interns even secure permanent jobs after completing their internships. 

Our Job Coaching Program is designed for young adults with developmental disabilities who have graduated from high school or completed a college certificate program. We support their transition from school to the workforce with:
